PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation sensitive composition for a color filter producing the color filter, having high radiation sensitivity, accompanied by extremely low contamination in a developer with an insoluble substance, generating an extremely small quantity of a volatile or sublimable substance in a baking step subsequent to development, scarcely contaminating a color filter production line and being excellent in reliability over a long period, and a color liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition for the color filter is characterized by containing a colorant A, an alkali soluble resin B, a polyfunctional monomer C and a photo radical generator including a compound expressed by the formula 1 as an indispensable constituent D. |
