PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a Zn-Mg electroplated metallic sheet excellent in corrosion resistance, formability and productivity, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The Zn-Mg alloy plated metallic sheet of this invention has a Zn-Mg electroplating layer consisting essentially of Zn and containing Mg formed at least on one surface of its metallic base material. When C is incorporated into the Zn-Mg electroplating layer, the corrosion resistance is further improved. The Zn-Mg alloy plated metallic sheet is manufactured by electroplating using an aqueous acidic solution containing the metallic salts of Zn and Mg and further a surfactant. |
