PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC discharge gas laser oscillator for achieving a power supply frequency of approximately several hundred Hz to several hundred kHz. SOLUTION: In the AC discharge gas laser oscillator, where metal electrodes 11a and 11b are arranged counterposedly, one portion of a laser container 3 of a gas laser oscillator 1 is composed by a dielectric 9 when covering the metal electrodes with the dielectric 9, at the same time, a recessed part 13 for accommodating the metal electrodes is provided at the dielectric, the metal electrodes are accommodated in the recessed part so that they can be separated, and at the same time, the recessed part is provided while it opens to the atmosphere outside the laser vessel. |
