摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the contour of an object in a moving image looks since the continuity of frames is not considered when it is judged whether the moving image belongs to a background image or moving object by a watershed method inside a frame image as before when extracting the moving object from the moving image. SOLUTION: An undetermined area ambiguous to which area it belong between a background area and a moving object area in the moving image near the boundary of these areas, is made to belong to any one of the background area and the moving object area by a time space watershed method 7 using a time space edge image 4 extracted for each of plural frame images.
