PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead battery connection construction for preventing the danger of short-circuiting due to contact of a battery being mounted or replaced with a tool and the danger of damage to the battery due to any load from reverse connection and wrong connection in a high-tension battery of 36 volts or more. SOLUTION: A lead battery has a terminal connection construction where a positive pole terminal 3 and a negative pole terminal 4 are connected to terminal connectors 10, 10' of cables 12, 12', respectively. The terminal 3, 4 has a core bar 11 having a female thread 8 and/or a bolt 6' having a male thread 9 embedded in a lid 2. The connector 10, 10' is connected and fixed to the terminal 3, 4 with a bolt 6 or a nut 5. An insulated portion 13 is provided on a non-connected surface of the connector 10, 10 and/or the bolt 6 and/or the nut 5.
