PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening frame in a building which is free from any level difference in a joining portion between frames and excellent in assembly workability. SOLUTION: The opening frame 1 is formed by joining an upper end of a frame 9 on both sides with both ends of an upper frame 8, and installed in an opening of the building, and a door is arranged inside thereof. A recess 11 is provided on an outer surface of a joined end 8A of one frame 8 out of the pair of frames 8, 9 joined with each other. A joined end 9A of the other frame 9 is joined with the recess 11 in an overlapping manner. The outer surface of the joined end 9A is substantially flush with the outer surface continuous to the joined end 8A of one frame 8.
