摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction material in which slipping-off of the grinding material is suppressed, and provide a pad and shoe capable of holding the friction force sufficiently even if the friction material contains a grinding material consisting of comparatively small particles with particle sizes below several tens of microns. SOLUTION: As components of a resin material and grinding material, a composite powder maerial is mixed in a friction material. Particles 5 of the composite powder maerial are structured so that a great number of grinding material particles 4 are implanted to the surface of the resin material particles 3. Accordingly the grinding material in the composite powder material is already fixed to the resin material strongly. Therefore the bonding strength of the grinding material can be heightened by the friction material by including the composite powder material as the components of resin materiasl and grinding material.
