PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke capable of convergence compensation and easy assembling and to provide a cathode-ray tube with the deflection yoke capable of controlling slipped color and picture distortion. SOLUTION: The deflection yoke has taps T provided between at least the horizontal deflection coils 11 and 12 and the circuits L1, L2, L3 and L4 connected between the taps T to control the current. The cathode-ray tube is provided with this deflection yoke.
