PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conduction inspection device of a side probe-type to perform a conduction inspection by connecting from a side with a terminal metal fittings being inserted and locked at the inside of a terminal housing room. SOLUTION: A connector electrode holder 12 and the first and second probe electrode holders 13, 14 are equipped, and the connector electrode holder 12 and the second probe electrode holder 14 are arranged successively at the first probe electrode holder 13 with back and forth possible. At the second probe electrode holder 14, a suppressing device 18 which presses an opposite side receiving face 14d with the connector holder 12 side is arranged successively, by the back and forth movements of a suppressing device 18, the second probe holder 13 and the connector electrode holder 12 are moved, and while a probe 16 can determine the positioning possible of a check position P1 being inserted at a conduction inspection groove 1a of the connector C from both sides, the probe 16 is configured so that it makes retreat and interlock successively to a refuge position P2 where to put on and take off of a connector C is possible to the connector holder 12.
