COMPOSITE CORD AND PNEUMATIC TIRE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cord produced by a simple production step, good in productivity, inexpensive in cost and excellent in penetrability of rubber. SOLUTION: This composite cord is obtained by twisting side cords consisting of 2-12 metallic wires around a core wire composed of a polymer fiber having 50-200 deg.C melting point.
