PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line attribute display system that can produce a very high effect of contribution to efficient and simplified line accommodation or the like. SOLUTION: An exchange 100 is provided with a function able to set the line attribute and a function able to display the set line attribute, and a front panel of a package can display the line attribute of each contained line. For example, each of line packages 102-1-102-n is configured to have an attribute setting means 161 having the function able to set the line attribute and an attribute display means 162 having the function able to display the line attribute. It is not required to have a new accommodation package every time a channel with different attribute is contained, resulting that a small number of kinds of the accommodation package is enough, the type of the attribute of lines accommodated in the exchange can easily be confirmed by each line from the front of a master unit, the line attribute can be grasped at a glance by each line from the front of the master unit and the circumstance on the occurrence of a fault can quickly and easily be grasped.
