PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inlet casing structure for removing dust and suspended matter in the air flowing into a pneumatic machine. SOLUTION: This inlet casing 2 for the pneumatic machine 1 has a hollow columnar structure 5 installed with an inclination to air flow. Dust and suspended matter in the air are taken into the columnar structure 5 through a hole 11 and discharged to the outside or captured by a dust removing means such as a filter provided inside the columnar structure 5 or outside in the connected state. The air after removing dust can be returned into the casing 2. The dust and suspended matter in the air flowing into the pneumatic machine can thereby be reduced, and the quantity of led-in air can be maintained.
