METHOD FOR RENEWING MOVING VECTOR MEMORY AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for renewing moving vector memory and a device thereof are provided to reduce a memory quantity and a power consumption by renewing a reference value of upper block by bit and renewing a reference value of left block by macro block. CONSTITUTION: A left moving vector memory(15) records a moving vector of right upper block of a macro block. An upper moving vector memory(25) records a moving vector of lower block of the macro block. The left moving vector memory(15) consists of a plurality of record units(MVL) which record one moving vector. An upper moving vector memory(25) consists of a plurality of record units(MV£0|,...MV£2N-1|) which record 2N moving vectors in case an upper video has N macro blocks.
