PURPOSE: An apparatus for coating a paraffin liquid on both surfaces of paper, heating to infiltrate paraffin into the inner part of paper and quick cooling is provided, which can obtain paraffin paper for fruit covering having excellent glossiness and waterproof and dampproof effect. CONSTITUTION: This apparatus comprises a paper feeding device(10) for supplying base paper(22); a printing device(12) for gravure printing on the base paper; a paraffin coating device(14) composed of a coating amount control roll(40) partially dipped in a paraffin liquid in a paraffin heating tank(36) and squeeze roll(44); a heating device(16) composed of a heating roll(46)(48) for heating the paraffin coated base paper; and a base paper winding device(20) composed of a winding roll(56), wherein a heating device(16) composed of an impregnating roll(37)(38) disposed at the front of the coating amount control roll to coat a paraffin liquid on both surfaces of the base paper and cooling device(18) composed of a cooling roll(50)(52) disposed between heating device and base paper winding device for quick cooling of the paraffin coated base paper.
