Beakers(1) are thermoformed from film strip(3) and pass through filling and sealing stations. Film edge guides and a half tunnel shaped cover form a housing incorporating a sterile chamber(21) The guides have a mechanism for pressing the film strip against lower guide strips(24) on the opposite side(6) of the film to the sterile chamber.
