PURPOSE: A door braking apparatus of a vehicle is provided to brake and release a door of a loading compartment efficiently with simple operation, and to assemble and disassemble simply by using a finger with braking a door check assembly. CONSTITUTION: A door braking device of a vehicle is composed of a housing(11) having an energy storage unit installed in a door and a guide unit; an arm(6) connected to a vehicle body to turn, and contacted to the guide unit; a striker(14) fixed in an elastic member(15) to move vertically against the center line of the arm; and a hook formed in the end of the arm. The arm has a detent(10) and a cam, and moves along the housing. The striker is deviated, and fitted to the hook automatically by the elastic member in turning the door for placing the door in the middle braking position. The striker is separated from the hook by applying force to the elastic member. The door of the vehicle is restrained and released with simple operation.
