A knit wear neck part knitting method, comprising the steps of knitting a knit wear (1) from a hem in the direction of a shoulder, branching, during the knitting, a body part (2) into the right and left sides of a neck (10) from a neck forming start position, repeating, a specified times, a partial knitting where the stitches around the periphery of the neck are disconnected from a normal knitting to bring these stitches in non-acting status so as to form the neck (10), moving an inclined part of the neck (10) and the right and left side stitches of the neck (10) containing a flat part adjacent to the inclined part to the center side of the neck, inserting a needle into the inclined part, and forming overlapped stitches inside the flat part, and performing a knitting for newly forming the stitches at the needle and forming the stitches in the next course on the overlapped stitches at the lateral neck (10) when the subsequent neck (8) is knitted so as to form a neck (8) excellent in wearing comfortableness, high in attractiveness, and forming a sufficient suspension.
