PURPOSE: An air filtration system which supplies power with a relatively small fan and is integrated into a sound insulation system so as to obtain an air filtration unit which is silent and efficient by using a filter with reduced pressure loss while maintaining the filtration capacity. CONSTITUTION: The filter comprises an upstream wall(174) and a downstream wall(176) for flowing of a fluid to be filtered, wherein the upstream wall comprises a plural pleats aligned in a first direction, and the downstream wall comprises pleats aligned in a second direction. The filter comprises an upstream wall and a downstream wall for flowing of a fluid to be filtered, wherein the upstream wall comprises one or more of bypass openings having a length which is aligned in a first direction, and the downstream wall comprises one or more of bypass openings having a length which is aligned in a second direction. The filtration system comprises a housing(14) forming an inlet part and an outlet part of a fluid; a passage(122) connecting the inlet part to the outlet part; a fan means for transferring the fluid through the passage(122); a control means(148) for controlling the fan means; a first filter installed at the downstream of the inlet part; ionizing electrodes(168) installed at the downstream of the first filter; a filter formed of an electret material at the downstream of the electrodes(168); and a carbon filter(210) at the downstream of the electret filter, wherein the passage is equipped with a sound-absorbing chamber between the electret filter and the outlet.
