The invention relates to a stretch film for packaging products, especially for packaging products that are stacked on a pallet. The inventive stretch film comprises a pre-stretched main film (10) that is reinforced by longitudinally extending reinforcement strips (12). Said reinforcement strips (12) consist of a film strip on the basis of a pre-stretched film which is folded several times in the longitudinal direction. The main film (10) may comprise, interposed between two adjoining reinforcement strips (12), two rows of holes (16, 18) that are off-set from each other. The inventive stretch film that is provided with holes (14) is especially useful for packaging food items.
