The rear end of the endpiece is held away from the molding tool while the free end(20) facing the molding cavity(18) connects with a tool member having projections which taper inwards towards and extend into the areas of the gate openings(14). The number of projections corresponds to the number of gate openings into the molding cavities. Axial movement of the free end of the end piece is possible within the tool member which is fixed to the molding tool(24).
