<p>A method of producing a high-luminance, high-image-quality plasma display panel reduced in panel yellowing, and a plasma display panel obtained by the method. The method of producing a plasma display panel comprises a substrate layer forming step of forming a substrate layer containing metal oxides on a glass substrate in an electrode forming process, a deposition promoting step of depositing palladium in a metal-layer-forming region on the substrate layer, and then the step of forming a metal layer in the specified region by an electroless plating method, metal oxides, contained in the substrate layer, preferably consisting of one or at least two kinds of compounds selected out of nickel oxide, cobalt oxide, iron oxide, zinc oxide, indium oxide, copper oxide, titanium oxide, paraseodymium oxide and silicon oxide.</p> |
