A fax appliance prints out Internet web sites by allowing the entry of a URL Internet address for relaying a web site from an Internet provider and for determining a web site. When a URL is entered, an automatic log-on occurs with the Internet provider. The URL is transferred after a connection takes place with the Internet provider. Web site image data made available by the Internet provider is received by the fax appliance.
