PURPOSE: A computer controlled display graphical interface unit for tracking a sequence of documents and for controlling the size of a cache for storing the documents are provided to track received documents and controlling the size of a cache for document preservation. CONSTITUTION: A data processor controlled display system with GUI comprises device for tracking event controlled by a data processor and sequences of a non-descriptive marker for the event seqences, and a graphic unit including user interaction device.
