<p>A device for use in an endodontic treatment, for example for filling a root canal of a tooth that is empty as a consequence of the removal of the nerve, with a thermoplastic product such as gutta percha, which product is distributed in the root canal by means of heating and pressing, which device comprises a housing that can be grasped by hand, a treatment element provided at one end of the housing, and means for making the treatment element vibrate. There is a vibratory unit in the housing, which vibratory unit is provided with coupling means by means of which the treatment element is coupled to it, as well as with a vibration generator.</p> |
