A method whereby a physiologically active sample substance can be measured within a short period of time at a high sensitivity comprising: bringing a solution of the sample substance to be measured into contact with a solution of a substance composed of a first physiologically active substance binding specifically to the sample substance and a ligand bonded thereto at a volume ratio of 1:1 to 20:1 to thereby form a complex of the physiologically active substance bonded to the ligand and the sample substance to be measured in the solution; dropping the solution containing the complex onto a porous filter to which a capturer of the above ligand is bonded to thereby bond the ligand moiety of the complex to the capturer; dropping a solution of a second physiologically active substance labeled with an enzyme binding specifically to the sample substance to be measured onto the filter to thereby bond this enzyme-labeled physiologically active substance to the complex of the first physiologically active substance and the sample substance to be measured bonded to the filter via the ligand capturer and the ligand moiety; washing the filter to thereby remove the unbonded enzyme-labeled second physiologically active substance; and then measuring the activity of the enzyme bonded to the filter.
|
