An air freight cargo pallet consists of a rectangular profiled aluminum frame (2) between two sheets of aluminum (7,8). The distance between the two sheets of aluminum (7,8) is maintained by a trapezoidal-folded (11) sheet of aluminum forming a series of ribs, and secured at intervals by e.g. rivets (10).
