ELECTROLYTIC SOLUTION COMPOSITION FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

An electrolytic solution composition for lithium secondary batteries which comprises a nonaqueous electrolytic solution obtained by dissolving a lithium salt in a nonaqueous solvent comprising a high-permittivity solvent and a low-viscosity solvent and, contained in the solution, at least either of an ester compound represented by the general formula R<1>S(CH2)nCOOR<2> and a sulfoxide compound represented by the general formula R<3>-SO-R<4>. In the formulae, R<1> and R<2> each independently represents C1-4 unsubstituted alkyl or halogenated alkyl; n is 1 or 2; and R<3> and R<4> each independently represents C1-4 unsubstituted alkyl, substituted alkyl, unsubstituted phenyl, or substituted phenyl.
