<p>The invention relates to agriculture and is directed at the use of at least one vicinal dithioglycol having general chemical formula R(CH)(SH)CH(SH)R1, wherein R can represent radicals (-H) or (-COOH), or (-SO¿3?H) and R?1¿ can represent radicals (-H) or (-COOH), or (-OH), or (CH¿2?-COOH), or (-CH2-SO3H), or (-CH2-O-CH2-SO3H), or the salts of derivates thereof comprising salt-forming groups (-OH) or (-COOH), or (-SO3H) as an active component for a bioactive agent, a feed additive, or a forage having disease-resistant, stimulant and antioxidant properties. The vicinal dithioglycols contained in the inventive agents, stimulate a number of important physiological processes, improve bioactive properties of the forage, and make it possible to bind and eliminate toxins from an animal organism. The invention also relates to methods for producing forage and methods for feeding animals and poultry.</p> |
