Influencing the drop spectrum of suspensions comprises adjusting the splitting ratio of partial streams (T3, T4) divided by nozzles (6a, 6b) which change the drop size using a valve (5, 8) or pump connected to one of the partial streams; adjusting the average diameter of the drops using the valve or pump; and changing the width of the spectrum by adjusting different admission pressures for several nozzles connected in the system. An independent claim is also included for a feeding system for carrying out the process. Preferred Features: Further parallel nozzles (21, 22) are operated with feed lines (23, 24) in the conveying direction after the pump (2) connected in the total fluid stream or in one of the total fluid streams.
