Bushing sleeve is made of a aluminum alloy for casting in cylindrical blocks made of light metal. The blocks have an outer cast surface in the region of its runner in the block. An independent claim is also included for a process for the production of a bushing sleeve comprising providing the outer cast surface of the sleeve with a thin low temperature melting zinc coating directly after casting at less than 419 [deg] C.
