The separate module elements e.g. printer, fluid box and switching cabinet are combined in a printing module and correctly positioned. The transporter (5) consists of two beams (7) joined by traverses (8), the beam (7) drilled out four times (12,13) along the machine module taking connecting screws (14,16) to forcibly connect the printer (1) and cabinet (4) to the transporter (5) and in the correct positions. The printer and switching cabinet both have securement points for the screws. The printer module can be transported by a hoist fixed to the transporter or can be transported by a floor vehicle fixed to the transporter. In a hoistable module, the fluid box (3) is not directly joined to the transporter (5).
