ETHYLENE COPOLYMER RUBBER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND USE

A novel ethylene copolymer rubber which is a random copolymer of ethylene with a C3-20 alpha -olefin and a triene compound represented by the formula (1) optionally with an unconjugated polyene. This rubber has a high crosslinking rate, is excellent in scorch stability, processability, and moldability, and gives a crosslinked rubber excellent in mechanical properties such as strength and in shape retention. A crosslinkable rubber composition containing the ethylene copolymer is suitable for use in producing a crosslinked rubber molding for sealing, an automotive weatherstripping sponge, etc.
