The invention relates to a distribution cabinet (1) that accommodates weak current distribution installations, especially for use outdoors. Said distribution cabinet comprises a base box (2), an outer cabinet body (3) with at least one door (4), a cabinet cover (5) and an inner assembly frame (6). Said assembly frame (6) is composed of profiled sections (50) the cross-sections of which are provided with two insertion pockets (51a, b), the insertion directions (52a, b) thereof being at a right angle with respect to each other. The invention further relates to an assembly kit for a distribution cabinet that accommodates weak current distribution installations, especially a distribution cabinet to be installed outdoors. The assembly kit comprises a base box (2), an outer cabinet body (3) with at least one door (4), a cabinet cover (5), especially consisting of a plastic material, especially polycarbonate, and an inner assembly frame (6) to be mounted within the outer cabinet body (3). Said assembly kit is further characterized in that the cabinet frame (6) is composed of profiled sections (50) that have at least two insertion pockets (51a, b) each that extend at an angle away from each other, and at least one insertion board (58a, b) for insertion into the insertion pockets (51a, b) of the profiled sections (50).
