<p>Processing an inner surface (18) of a cylindrical bore (10) of a component comprises melting the inner surface using a laser beam (14) and introducing an alloying powder. The beam is guided into the bore using a deviating lens (12) and directed onto the inner surface using a deviating mirror (16). The lens is arranged in such a way that the longitudinal axis (20) of the lens is tilted by a predetermined angle. An independent claim is also included for a device for carrying out the process. Preferred Features: The inner surface is processed by welding, dispersing, remelting or alloying. A focusing lens (24) is inserted before and/or during processing so the laser beam is focused onto the inner surface of the bore.</p> |
