Water-carrying domestic device compares quantity of fresh water fed to working container with quantity of liquid transported away from working container by emptying system

The device has an emptying system for emptying a working liquid from a working container (3) and a vane wheel meter (21,25,27) for monitoring the emptying process. The quantity of fresh water fed to the working container can also be detected by the vane wheel meter and is compared with the quantity of liquid transported away from the working container in evaluation electronics. An error routine is called up if there is a non-negligible difference. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of filling and monitoring the emptying of a working container.
