The sunshade unit provides an improved level of convenience in operation and control by enabling awkward and energy consuming maneuvers to be dispensed with, particularly during the setting up and adjustment of the shade. A drive unit (30 ) for displacing the telescopic tube (14) is made available and draws its energy from a solar power unit (40).
