Between two ring (8) of a double seal in housing or piston wall surface (L1,L2) runs a circumferential annular groove (12) taking a nonmetal guide band (9) of a thickness slightly exceeding the depth of the groove (12). Each groove communicates with a collector or reservoir for pressure medium leakage (13), here in the prefered form of a ring channel (13). The channel connects to a line (11) being held at slight vacuum.
