摘要

Pixel shifting, in which a pixel position of an image displaying means is optically shifted according to image signals supplied to a image displaying means to increase an apparent number of pixels, is controlled to thereby enable us to observe high-resolution images with a use of a low-cost image displaying means having a comparatively small number of pixels.
