摘要 PURPOSE: A device and method for generating phase shifted 8PSK digital modulating signal is provided to embody a rapid digital signal process using a small sized memory and not including a multiplication in embodying pi/8 shifted 8PSK modulation. CONSTITUTION: A SPC(2) converts an input data(IDT) column of an inputted digital into a 3-bit combined column(Xk,Yk,Zk). An index processing unit(10) decides an output phase of a pi/8 phase shifted 8PSK by a look-up table of a pi/8 phase shifted 8PSK using an index number of a phase difference corresponded to the 3-bit combined column(Xk,Yk,Zk). An Ik, Qk signal processing unit(15) outputs an Ik(Inphase) signal and a Qk(Quadrature) signal by a pre-set responded value through inputting pi/8 phase shifted 8PSK output phase information decided in the index processing unit(10).
