RECEIVER AND RECEPTION METHOD FOR PILOT SIGNAL

PURPOSE: To provide a receiver and a reception method for pilot signal by which deterioration in the reception quality of a pilot signal due to fading can be prevented in the communication adopting the CDMA system. CONSTITUTION: An analog/digital converter means 1 subjects a base and reception signal to analog/digital conversion processing, an inverse spread means 2 conducts demodulation through accumulation of spread codes, and gives its demodulation signal to a phase signal strength detection means 5. In the case of inverse spread processing, a random timing decision means 3 generating random timing which is not susceptible to the effect of periodic burst fading controls the reception timing.
