PURPOSE: A cylinder head structure for hermetic compressor is provided to reduce vibration and noise by distributing the impact applied to the valve contact surface of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: A hermetic compressor includes a cylinder head(12) having a refrigerant inlet port(18) and a refrigerant outlet port(19); and a suction valve and a discharge valve for opening/shutting the refrigerant inlet port and the refrigerant outlet port, respectively. The cylinder head has a valve contact surface(210) which is formed to have a tilt, so that the suction valve and the discharge valve simultaneously contacts the valve contact surface during opening/shutting of the refrigerant inlet port or the refrigerant outlet port, to thereby distribute the impact applied to the valve contact surface of the cylinder head.
