PURPOSE: Provided is a battery equipped with a mechanism to catch the abnormality of the battery, in which the hard plastic housing case incorporating a nearly rectangular cavity space and substantially a flat inner face are comprised. CONSTITUTION: The battery structure(70) and a switch(90) are incorporated in a cavity space(26). The battery structure is the nearly rectangular shaped with a flat external face, and has two lead wires(82, 84) penetrating through the housing case and extending through contact slots(52a, 52b) while lead wires(92, 94) of the switch are extended through another contact slots(52b, 52c). The battery structure keeps a normal form when the operation is under the normal conditions, but forms an abnormal form when it is under the abnormal conditions. The switch(90) is arranged between the flat inner face of the housing case and the flat external face of the battery structure. The switch is related to both the first electric situation in which the battery structure is of the normal form, and the second situation in which it is of the abnormal form. |
