PURPOSE: A method for displaying sub-screen of digital TV is provided to satisfy a variety of viewer's wants by displaying a sub-screen in a variety of formats. CONSTITUTION: The first process inputs a sub-screen switch key in a general screen mode and displays a sub-screen. The second process inputs a shift key of the sub-screen displayed in the first process. The third process displays a sub-screen table which consists of a variety of sub-screen format pre-recorded by the sub-screen shift key inputted in the second process. The fourth process displays a sub-screen in the same format as a selected sub-screen format in case the sub-screen of the sub-screen table displayed in the third process is selected.
