UNLOADING/LOADING SHIP IN COASTLINE HAVING NO PIER EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: A catamaran type ship is provided to quickly unload/load a cargo at a coastline having no pier equipment. CONSTITUTION: A watertight box-shaped movable platform(15) is arranged between two left and right hulls(10) of a catamaran shape. An upper part of the platform forms a traveling surface to support a cargo. Unfoldable ramps are arranged in both end parts of the platform. The platform and the ramps existing in an unfolded position constitute a loading passage having a uniform width equal to an interval between the two hulls. The ship has a mechanism capable of floating the ship by either of only the hull of the catamaran ship or the whole area of the platform and the hull by changing a position of the movable platform.
