PURPOSE: A telephone for CTI systems is provided to make information mutually exchanged with a CTI system so that advertisers can advertisements more effectively and customers can use free phone services more conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A telephony circuit(20) is connected with a microphone(27) and a speaker(25). An LCD(40) outputs the data received by a modem(10) as images. A CPU(30) controls the LCD(40) through an LCD driver(43). The LCD(40) has a memory(45) and a font ROM(47) internally. A telephone for CTI systems contains a card input/output device(51), a line selection device(53), an MPEG codec(61), an H/A slot(65), an OSD(On-Screen Display) generator(57), and an automatic answering machine(55). The card input/output device(51) executes the read/write operations of various cards for payment. The line selection device(53), composed of an ACR(Automatic Caller Router) module, selects a communication service provider according to a user's selection. The MPEG codec(61) converts the image received from an external camera into an image signal and provides the signal to the CPU(30) that controls the LCD(40) to display the image dependent on the image signal. A home automation system is installed in the H/A slot(65). The home automation system is connected with control modules(67) and a security sensors(66). The OSD generator(57), connected to a television(59) through a video jack(58), outputs character information on the television screen according to the control of the CPU(30).
