PURPOSE: A property converting system of a vacuum pump is provided to increase suction flow, and to reach the maximum vacuum promptly by accelerating fluid with driving an impeller in a discharge pipe of a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(4) is installed in a discharge pipe(6) of a vacuum pump(2) having a motor, and driven by pressure and speed of fluid discharged from the pump. The impeller is operated as an expander, and designed to minimize frictional loss in rotating the impeller. A shaft is integrated with an impeller case, and the shaft is integrally manufactured with the impeller. The impeller increases the pressure as the expander, and increases the flow by expanding in installing the impeller in the discharge pipe. The property converting system of the vacuum pump increases the vacuum promptly by operating the vacuum pump and a flow accelerating apparatus, and reduces the arrival time to the maximum vacuum with the vacuum pump by bypassing the flow accelerating apparatus. The suction flow and the vacuum are increased promptly, and the energy consumption is reduced with accelerating fluid by driving the impeller.
