REFRIGERATOR EVAPORATOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING HEADER

PURPOSE: A refrigerant evaporator and method for manufacturing header is provided, in which tubes and fins are made up of a plastic material and coupling structure of header is improved, to thereby reduce manufacturing cost and size of the evaporator, while obtaining an improved heat transfer effect. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator evaporator comprises a heat exchanger constituted by a plurality of extrusion tubes(34) and fins(31) which are made up of a plastic material; a first header/refrigerant storage tank(35) and a second header(32) having a first bending portion(31a) and a second bending portion(31b) where extrusion tubes are bent, wherein the first header/refrigerant storage tank and the second header are connected to extrusion pipes; a refrigerant inlet tube(33) and a refrigerant outlet tube(39) coupled to first and second headers; and a separator(38) arranged in an intermediate portion of the header so as to separate the refrigerant inlet tube from the refrigerant outlet tube. Each of extrusion tubes maintains thickness of 0.3 to 0.5mm.
