PURPOSE: An apparatus for monitoring the status of a door is provided so that a resident can simply confirm the door status of his place of residence in a remote place using a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for monitoring the status of a door is comprised of a sensor(10), a timer(20), a Bluetooth module(40), a keypad(60), LEDs(Light Emitting Diodes)(51,52), an LED driving part(50), and a control part(30). The sensor(10) senses the locking status of a door lock(L) continuously. The timer(20) counts the lapse of time continuously. The Bluetooth module(40) transmits a lock release state of the door lock(L) sensed by the sensor(10) to a destination in the form of a radio frequency signal. The keypad(60) is provided with a mode setup button for mode setup. The LEDs(51,52) visually output and display a mode set by the keypad(60). The LED driving part(50) drives the LEDs(51,52). The control part(30) controls processing dependent on mode setup by the keypad(60) and the data movement between each of the components. |
