PURPOSE: Structure for fixing an impeller of a turbo compressor is provided to prevent the breakage of a drive shaft and to promote a processing speed of the drive shaft by reducing the length of the drive shaft and the length of a stepped portion of small diameter. CONSTITUTION: Bearing plates are inserted into both ends of a drive shaft(110) fitted in a rotor of a drive motor, and both stepped portions(111) of the drive shaft are inserted to fixing grooves(121a,122a) of impellers(121,122). Connecting bolts(131,132) are penetrated from the rear faces of the impellers to be connected to connecting grooves(121b,122b) of the drive shaft. Then, the impellers and the drive shaft are firmly connected by using the connecting bolts after fitting a reinforcing pin between the impellers and the drive shaft. Thus, the length of the stepped portion of is reduced and so is the weight of the drive shaft. Therefore, a processing speed of the drive shaft is promoted.
