PURPOSE: A vibration reduction structure for linear compressor is provided to achieve an improved operating reliability of compressor by preventing the vibration caused during refrigerant gas compression from being transferred to the closed container. CONSTITUTION: A vibration reduction structure comprises a moving mass constituted by a piston(40) which reciprocates within a cylinder(20) so as to compress gas, and a magnet(32) and a magnet holder(33) moving along with the piston; main springs(70) arranged at both sides of the piston, and which elastically support movement of the piston; a damping spring(90) connected to the moving mass; and a vibration absorbing member(91) coupled to the damping spring, and which cooperates with the damping spring so as to generated a vibration mode in accordance with the movement of the moving mass. The damping spring and the vibration absorbing member are configured to have a secondary vibration mode with respect to the movement of the main spring and the moving mass.
